Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts Oregon
I am trying to put a fraud alert on my credit via Equifax 's web site because I have reason to believe that someone has used my social security number. However, I can not sign up on Equifax 's web site without first paying $20.00. Really?! I have to pay $20.00 just to alert the company that somebody may have my social security number?! That does n't seem right or fair.
