Credit monitoring or identity protection problem with fraud alerts
Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts Connecticut
I have a Fraudelent ID Theft problem because of a breach of - - - - 's data base. This is the second time I have had a problem calling Experian to initiate a renewal of my free 90 day ID Theft Credit Fraud alert via the phone number shown on the FTC website : - - -. They do not have a distinct option ( or number ) for dialing into and resolving this problem. I submitted a similar complaint to the CFPB on -/-/2015 Case number -, which was resolved in my favor. This problem constantly recurs, and there is a distinct attempt to direct the consumer to a credit freeze, because that is the closest option available for a ID Theft Alert, and it is a service the consumer must pay for. Please help me resolve this problem, not only for myself, but for other consumers as well. Thank you, - -
