Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
Billing disputes South Carolina
I was contacted by by phone by someone at Synchrony Bank regarding my - store card. I did not note the name. After being told about the issue, I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. After holding for quite a while I spoke with -. My payment was due on -. I made a payment for more than the amount due on -. However, that payment was applied to - ( which I had already paid in - prior to the due date ). - indicated the problem would be resolved by speaking with Customer Service. I held again, was transferred, spoke briefly to someone whose name I did not note, and then was disconnected. I then chose the live chat '' option online, and was told by the representative that they would not be able to adjust my account to indicate that it was paid on time, that it would still show late for -. I find it extremely unreasonable that a payment made prior to the due date can be considered late, and can be reported to the credit bureaus as such.
