I checked my credit reports with all - major credit bureaus ( -, - and - ). I noticed a collection account with Midland Credit Management -. I sent all - credit bureaus disputes back in - 2015 disputing the validity of this account. Midland Credit Managment responds validating this account and sending a last statement showing a charge off from the original creditor. I disputed this account a 2nd time with Midland Credit Management letting them know that the information that they furnished is not sufficient and that I would need them to validate this account pursuant to the Texas Finance Code 392 or delete the tradeline from all - credit bureaus. I never received a response back and they are still reporting inaccurate information in clear violation. Midland Credit Reporting has recently been investigated by the CFPB for its deceptive collection practices and violations of federal and state laws.
