We have had a loan with bank of the west for many months sending payments to the same address which is the only address that my bank had for the online bill pay for as well as what bank of the west had on our payment booklet. For many months my bank took out the money from my checking account and sent it to the bank of the west. Bank of the west processed every payment until it came to my -/-/- Payment when they decided they would no longer accept payments at that address. Without informing us at any point that it was not going to be accepted nor that the payments we had sent for -/-/- and -/-/- would not be accepted. It was n't until my bank notified me that the -/-/- Payment had not been cashed for over 30 days. We contacted the bank of the west who were rude and disrespectful. They informed us to cancel the payment we forwarded to them and to send it a different way. So we wired them the money since we has no time without it effecting our credit. They received the payment and only weeks after processing the payment informed us they were charging a late fee. Due to the lack of communication on their end it is coating us both finically and mentality. Their lack of customer service and support has caused miscommunication and effected our credit at fault of their policy. We have asked several times to speak to someone in charge and have only been sent in circles being told no management is working at any time we call. We have asked them to listen to our situation and we are pushed aside like we are irresponsible borrowers. We have lived up to our end of the deal with bank of the west but with their unfair and decptive practices they have not lived up to treating us fairly.
