GM Financial Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease North Carolina
GM Financial is reporting that we were late on our vehicle loan, when we no longer owned the vehicle. We traded our - GMC Acadia into - - - on - -, 2015. GM Financial reported that we were 30 days late on this vehicle on - -, 2015, 25 days after we traded the automobile into the dealership. They claimed that they never received the first check, so the dealership overnighted them one on - -. I called to verify that a payoff was sent to GM Financial and the dealership claimed one was sent out on - -, 2015. I asked that all copies of the check be sent to me and I would contact the finance company back. I did and they still do not want to listen and correct the reporting. The check was sent to them, but they did not apply it to the account, instead disposed of the check as to retain all the refund money up in late fees.
