HSBC Mortgage department,
Conventional adjustable mortgage (ARM) Credit decision / Underwriting Ohio
We have a mortgage on our - house which is a manufactured home. It is an adjustable rate of 8 % and it never goes lower. I thought it should have gone way down when the rates declined. My daughter has tried to purchase it and nobody will finance it for her. It is on a permanent foundation. It seems like the loan never goes down and is all interest since we bought the house. We refinanced over 10 years ago and it has hardly gone down. If manufactured homes are such a risk and nobody wants to finance them then why are they allowed to sell them in Ohio.
