I have a - credit card, which is handled by Synchrony bank. I 'm receiving abusive and harassing phone calls from Synchrony bank from the phone number - - - - -, which is a skype number. Collection activity has been outsourced to people in -, in the -. They are obviously not aware of the FDCPA, because when I asked if they knew about it, they said no. I asked because they have violated the law multiple times with me. First, they call me FOUR times daily, every day for the past week. That 's harassment. Second, I asked them to cease contact, as I am aware of the debt. Further, the debt was n't even 2 months delinquent. Even after I made a payment for the past due amount, the rep demanded I make a payment for the remaining amount which was n't even due until -/-/2015, - payment was made on -/-/2015, the next due date was on -/-/2015 ) or the calls would continue. This is also in violation of the FDCPA. Contact has not been stopped.
