Party in error : - 's - Creditor - Located in : - - MallAddress : - - - -, - -, - -Phone : ( - ) -Collection Agency involved : - Group- -, - - : ( - ) -Case Reference number -Explanation : I applied for the - 's credit card, that this charge involves, in approximately - of 2013, at the - 's - -, - store, at time of purchase The charge was for approximately 200 $ I applied for the credit card with the intention of building some credit as my credit history is blanko I have always paid for purchases and cleared up any and all debts with cash I was denied for the - 's credit card at time of purchase because I had no credit history I paid for the purchase with cash I have not ever received a bill, credit card, notification or other indication that I had ever been approved for the card application After one full and entire year passed, after not having received a single bill or notification from the department store, I started to receive collection agency notices from the Northland Group for this charge I


billing specialist from - the current charges include a year 's worth of late charges added to the account for delinquent payment on the account Because of the mix-up at the store level when the debt was paid in full with cash and my credit application was applied for and denied the company has not processed the cancellation of the credit application properly and continues to try to bill me and collect a debt which does not exist This billing and credit application error has destroyed my credit rating because it is the only item on my credit history. Other than this error in credit application cancellation, for a debt that was paid after the credit application was denied, I have nothing on my credit history. I do not even have a - 's credit card number or any other reference for this case and charges as the credit line and card were never issued or mailed
