Capital One Credit card department,
Credit card protection / Debt protection Florida
On -/-/15 I tried to activate my new Capital One credit card online and the website said I had to call, when I called I got transferred to the fraud department, where an - lady put me on hold for a long time. Without my knowledge she called my husband ( whom I am currently separated from ), she asked for me and he told her she had the wrong #. My husband later told me this and was very upset because she also asked for a - - as well and stated that it was Capital One calling about my account with a - - ( not clearly saying the name ). He was unaware of me even getting this credit card and I would have preferred to keep it that way. After, a very stressful day of dealing with this, I called the representative in the US and she explained no one called my husband. He texted me a screen shot of this number ( - ) -, that he was called from -! I have never had such a complicated time activating a card! Also, I am extremely upset that my husband was called and concerned about where Capital One even got his phone number from!
