The VA is claiming I owe money. They can not tell me why I still owe this money because I paid the debt I had with them from my GI bill benefits before I could start receiving benefits. Pioneer recovery has started collecting this debt. They 've added $500.00 in fees and are now garnishing my wages. I have read on the VA 's site that the Treasury Department is who collects any VA debts. Pioneer Recovery did n't give me any notice that they would be garnishing my wages. I need this to stop because I can not afford to pay my other bills with - % of my net wages being garnished.
