I applied for several apartments and I was declined due to having a previous eviction ''. For the life of me I could not understand why I was showing a previous eviction because I was never evicted. The most recent apartment was - -. I had an exceptional leasing agent who explained to me why the application was declined. I had advised her I went through a few rough patches where I was always late but I was never evicted. She explained the company lists verified evictions. When I contacted the company they advised me to show proof that I was never evicted. Well it was hard to do because the property - where I previously lived and where they claim the eviction came from has been demolished. I explained that to them and they advised me to contact the court. I contacted the court and they stated that I have never been evicted and they directed me to a site were I


Is n't your job to only report accurate information that you have proof of? How can you report I was evicted if you do not have proof that I was? Its defamation, its inaccurate reporting, and it is costing me hundreds of dollars in useless application fees. I talked to the dispute department and he attempted to steer me away from disputing my file. Then I called again and another person was rude in his attempts as well but I forcefully advised him that I wanted the items disputed. I have contacted the company several times with no resolution. Although the dispute as not come back yet I feel that this company should only report information is verified and accurate. Thank You,
