On - - I submitted a Right of Rescission letter to Ford Credit. I know that they ( Ford Credit - received the letter as I have a screen shot from the USPS showing that it was delivered. As per - U.S.C. -, the creditor has twenty - 20 - days to respond and return all of my property. It has been over 60 days and they have not responded. I have not received any correspondence by mail from Ford Credit. It is my understanding as per the code, ), '' within 20 days after receipt of a notice of rescission, the creditor shall return to the obligor any money or property given as earnest money, down payment, or otherwise, and shall take any action necessary or appropriate to reflect the termination of any security interest created under the transaction ''. That did not happen. On - -, approximately 20 days since Ford Credit had been in receipt of the letter, I had to leave - - for about 30 days for work. During my absence I had my son check the mail for any correspondence from Ford Credit. There was none. Upon my return, I noticed the I had


my work phone as well as cell phone from Ford Credit. They even contacted my son. I immediately tried to send Ford Credit an email through their account management website but it would not upload the documents. In turn I emailed an account managed whose title claimed that he was an Investigator '' for Ford Credit a reminder letter telling them that upon receipt of the rescission letter that they had only 20 days in which to respond and that as of - - they had not. I informed Ford Credit that I would be contacting them in the near future to discuss the disposition of my property. I still had not heard from Ford Credit as of - - 2015. As I was going to lunch yesterday - - 2015 I noticed that a wrecker had loaded my vehicle on it and was towing it away. I asked the driver what he was doing with my vehicle and he said it was being repossessed. He offered no paperwork or explanation and drove away. I contacted the police to report it stolen and they were of no help. I informed the police that after I performed a - Lien search statewide for Georgia I found that there were no liens in my name or social security number. I contacted the sheriffs office and several other agencies and contacted the repo company as well. I finally contacted Ford Credit and spoke to a - -, the so-called Investigator ''. I informed him the Ford Credit had broken the law in repossessing the vehicle as had sent the letter of rescission and I was aware that they had received it on - -. I explained what the creditor 's responsibilities were in returning my property and - - ' just laughed at that. I asked for my property to be returned, again he laughed at that as well. He acknowledged receipt of the reminder letter that I emailed and informed me that it was no good as the account number was incorrect and that the VIN number that I entered was wrong. I told him that there was more that enough information included in the letter for them to identify who I was. The correct account number is -, I entered -, - digit off. The correct VIN is -, I entered -, - digit off, so there was enough information for them to know who they were dealing with. I asked - - if he and/or Ford Credit had to follow the law like everyone else and his response was a laugh and his statement was do you know how long Ford Credit has been in business ''? - - decided to end the call.
