-/-/- I took out a car loan from a local car dealer, and was toldthat it was simple interest with no prepayment. To my surprise afterwards, and my fault for not reading the entire contract, there was a prepayment penaltySo with that said, I have prepaid the loan to $.00, but I am now gettingharassing phone calls from USBank telling me I am past due even though it isnot due -/-/-. I have spokento more than a dozen USB representatives, trying to explain that I haveprepaid it, they acknowledge it, and even sometimes even embarrassed. Theyexplain, that there computer system can not handle the prepayment, andthat they will continue to call me. They state the only way that they will stop isif I pay the prepayment fee, which is not owed. How do I get USBank tostop the harassing phone calls?
