Wells Fargo Credit card department,
I have a - - credit card through Wells Fargo. In - -, I purchased furniture under a 12-month interest-free promotion and paid it off in - -. In - -, I purchased additional furniture under another 12-month interest free promotion. My balance is $340.00 and the promotional period ends in - -. My minimum payment due is $130.00, which would cause me to repay the loan in full by - ( instead of enjoying the benefit of interest free payments with a minimum monthly payment of roughly $65.00 until - - ). Wells Fargo is alleging that the furniture store set the promotional balance, and they they calculate my minimum balance differently. This practice is deceptive. I was promised the ability to make payments for 12 months interest free, but if I do n't make the minimum payment I will hurt my credit and be charged all of the interest I have saved so far. This is deceptive and misleading.
