Closing/Cancelling account Virgin Islands
On -/-/- I made a payment on my Citi Card account ending in - using my checking account ending in -, which I have made in error because my payroll goes to my account ending in -. - I realized my mistake, so I made a payment for $2000.00 using my checking account ending in - and another payment on -/-/- using my account ending in - for $ --At this time, Citibank have attempted to process my payment on -/-/- which made my bank ending in - fine me a penalty of $60.00. Because I already made a payment as soon as I realized I made an error on -/-/-, I did not contact Citi and I have been accessing my account and I did not receive any notification or warning of them closing my account for this reason. If I knew that they will closed my account for this reason, I should have transfer the money on -/-/- and have them processed the payment that I made by mistake using my account ending in -. - I tried to use my Citicard ending in - and it declined. I called Citi and I called to numerous representative and
made 2 payments after that for $4300.00. I have put all my available liquid assets/cash into paying my Citicards, now I do n't have any resources to pay my bills. Citicard did not call me to tell me that my payment did not go through on -/-/-. We are also planning to buy a house on - -, so I have been paying off my Citicard every month. I have not paid interest to Citicard because I have been paying it off before my due date, to increase my credit score for my future mortgage loan. Also, they just increase my credit limit to $8300.00 from $6000.00 on - -. Our plans of buying a house in - and my credit score will be affected by this action tremendously. How can they not re-open my account when I already made the payment, I do n't have any balance due when I made the payment in error and it is within 30days of my due date. Please help me to reach the Corporate office of Citi and sort this out. Please re-open my account being that I have been a good cardholder of CitiCards since -. Thank you. - - -
