Wells Fargo Student loan department,
Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Florida
I am no longer in school, I am now in repayment. I called my lender about a repayment plan because they say on the website that if you 're having troubles repaying, call this number. I talked to the CS rep and she basically told me that I could n't get any repayment plan, even though I 've told her that I 'm experiencing hardships, because my co-signer may not be. When I told her that they were having troubles as well, she responded with, we do n't know that. '' Why would I lie about something like this? I want to be rid of these people as soon as possible. This is the only lender who even brings the co-signer into the equation. First off, I did n't even sign a loan with them, because I know how they treat their customers and I did n't want to be stuck with them, but it was sold to them anyway. Then I asked her about repayment and the first words out of her mouth was you can try consolidation because we ca n't offer any long term forbearance options. I was n't even asking for long term options, I only needed about three months! I understand that they are n't governed by Federal laws but to completely ignore the needs of your customers is simply wrong. I would like to know how I can get my loan transferred somewhere else or learn of the regulations of private loan lenders because I feel that they are n't doing the very best that they can to help their customers.
