PNC Bank Credit card department,
APR or interest rate Pennsylvania
I have a card with a 0 % interest offer on a $7000.00 balance. In - 2014, a $25.00 purchase was made subject to a 14.99 % APR. Since the amount of interest was so small, I was instead charged a minimum interest fee of $1.00, which means the APR on that purchase was 16.6 % That $1.00 aws then subject to the 14.99 % APR, which worked out to roughly - cent. I was then charged interest on that fee the next month, which was subject to a $1.00 minimum interest charge, which worked out to approximately 128 % interest on this fee. There is no amount I can pay, short of the entire balance, to stop being charged this fee each month. This has continued every month.
