Sallie Mae called me - times yesterday. I answered the phone each time and there was no on on the other end of the line. I called the number back and spoke with someone who claimed I owed an amount of $25.00 and some change. I advised them that they had called me - times in one day and the supervisor advised it was an automated system and shows they only contacted me - times. After I ended the phone call because the supervisor and rep both told me there was nothing they could do about the phone calls until the bill was paid, I paid the bill online. The amount it showed I owed online was greater than what I was told on the phone, but I paid it all anyway. I received - more phone calls after the payment was made last night. Again, no one was on the other end of the line. Today, I received - more phone calls from the same number and no one was on the line. I tried to call them back, but ca n't speak with anyone because their office is closed.
