In attempting to correct some serious issues with my credit report, Trans Union did not complete the correction satisfactorily. When I called the number listed in the Investigation Results, not only was the service person rude, she refused to listen and refused to give me information about myself or to correct the inaccurate information. I was trying to put a consumer statement on my account and she refused. I tried to update my address correctly ... as part of the original investigation they updated it, but did not update it correctly. She refused to correct it and refused to give any additional recourse to have it corrected. When I told her I would be filing a consumer complaint about this situation, she then threatened to then return additional information that had already been corrected and removed in retalliation. Her name is -. She would not give any further information about herself or her position/title. I have been working with Trans Unition since -/-/- to get this information corrected, from -, as a service member -/-/-. This has become a serious issue for my work and - as it has become a question with my security clearance and should n't be. The information in contest is incorrect and needs to be corrected to reflect my actual history. I would appreciate any help in getting Trans Union to fulfill their obligation and either correct the information or place my consumer statement as is my right by law.
