My husband took out a no interest for 12 months credit account to pay for -. The account is with synchrony Financial. They had the wrong address on my husband 's account through no fault of ours and we did not receive a bill for 2 months and was unaware of the wrong address until they called because the account was past due. It was discovered on that call they had the wrong address and sunchrony said they would reset the clock and take away the late charges '' since it was not our fault. The address on the contract is our correct address. We did receive the first bill in - ( should have been - ) and promptly paid it but noticed that the length of time to pay interest free was not reset and stood at 10 months. We contacted synchrony, on - and they said they would send a letter in 7 days with their decision. Well, we got no letter and when I called today I was told that the request was denied.
- '', then - - '' and finally - - a manager ''. Today when I called I spoke with - ''. This is unfair. Our contract states 12 months interest free and now we only have 10 months through no fault of our own. This is deceptive practice.
