I received a letter from Portfolio Recovery in Reference to the below mentioned account number. This debt was cancelled by the original Credit Card Company after I disputed this debt as paid and also filed a complaint against the company, - Bank. Portfolio has stated that I failed to submit information to prove that the debt was invalid, I did not receive any communication from Portfolio Recovery until today about this debt. It was cancelled in -/-/-. I am enclosing the statement issued thru CFPB by Portfolio Recover after my filing and also I am faxing the letter that they sent to me, that I received yesterday. This debt was settled years ago thru another collection agency.
