Credit monitoring or identity protection Account terms and changes Connecticut
I had requested my credit report from Trans Union after a mortgage company claimed that all - of my reports were very negative. Since I had a score in the - just a month ago, I knew there was a problem and wanted to find out what was going on. I had to pay $1.00 to Trans Unionand I saw the report and my FICO score online ( which was in the - ). The next day, I received an e-mail from then stating that the $1.00 enroled me into a credit monitoring service and if I did n't opt out in - days they would deduct $17.00 from my checking every month! I had reported a similar problem with -, and they let me opt out. However, with Trans Union, there is no way to contact them to stop the payment.
