I received a prescreened offer in the mail. I did n't want the credit card. It 's for a store I never shop in. Within the materials, there was information to opt out from further offers. I called the number & they asked for my social security number & birthdate. I entered in the information since I have accounts with this bank - Synchrony Bank -. Then they started to ask for my address & name. I hung up. I felt like the number was a phishing scam. The number I dialed was -.
