The representative could not provide me with information about the amount owed other than who the original creditor was. I was asked to provide the collection company with information of what I owed them instead of them providing me with information about the amount of money that they were trying to collect. I asked to be provided proof of debt, including but not limited to, payment history, interest accumulation, and fees to verify the amount owed.
