Wells Fargo Credit card department,
In - of 2014, I applied for a secured credit card with Wells Fargo ; I was required to deposit $5000.00 with Wells Fargo in order to obtain the card ; the bank employee told me that they would hold my $5000.00 for 1 year after which they would return it to me. Wells Fargo still has my $5000.00 after I recently decided to cancel their credit card and they now state that they will not return my money for at least 2 months! I received a letter from them regarding closure of your credit card '' with absolutely no mention of my $5000.00 security fund. It no longer appears on my online summary either. HAD I KNOWN THAT THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY MONEY TO ME AFTER CLOSURE OF THE ACCOUNT AS THEY HAD PROMISED, I NEVER WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THEIR CREDIT CARD. WHY ARE THEY HOLDING MY MONEY WITHOUT ANY NOTATION OF IT ANYWHERE THAT I CAN SEE???
