The - contact was on -/-/-. They always begin the conversation is this such and such ( name ) ; without ever identifying who they are. They ask for personal information although the public is advised not to give personal information over the phone ; they continue to use this tactic. This is a debt that I took care of -/-/- when I refinance my home and from that point on this debt has been sold to various collection agencies. They as for the request to have calls stopped to be sent in writing. I am reluctant to do that because I did not want to provide any personal information including my address, but it was confirmed by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection that it would need to be in writing. Sending my request in writing is my next step to stop these repetitious phone calls.
