I refinanced my mortgage with PenFed in - 2014. They advertise their mortgage rate offer by saying we pay virually all closing costs up to $10000.00 ''. In my loan documents, it said that there is no pre-payment penalty. However, now that I am trying to refinance, they are telling me that I owe them $1000.00 for the closing costs they paid. This is false advertising!! There is a pre-payment fees!! My new lender thinks this is wrong and suggested I file a complaint.
