I had a credit card issued by my credit union. Since the credit limit was so small, i almost never used it and it was sitting in my safe for a year. I was checking my credit scores online and noticed I had a missed payment on this card so I tried to go online and see what it was, since I had n't used the card. My online account was locked out because by this time I was in collections. At least this is the reason i eventually got. I made several calls trying to clear this up and it went into a fraud investigation. By the time they did anything about the fraud charge, now i have - missed payments on my credit report. I called a - times and sent a dispute letter to try and fix this problem, to no avail. The response I got back was that the account is not reporting, but when I look on -, there it is. The last call I made to them got the usual transfer around and then to a voicemail box I have n't heard back from. This it typical, usually i finally either get lied to that it is fixed or transferred and hung up on. I got the card through - - - -, it is serviced by - - -, which I think is part of US Bank. If I had known the credit union was n't servicing the account and would n't help me with any problems, I would never had accepted it.
