Northland Group called me on - -, 2015 regarding a debt owed by - -, the person who had my current phone number until last summer. I was assigned the phone number - and have been receiving calls for -, whom I do not know, have never met, and has never lived at my address. I requested Northland Group take my phone number off their call list and they said they would. I asked which company was collecting the debt so I could talk directly to them and they refused to tell me. I saw on my caller ID that Northland Group called again on - -, 2015, a week after promising me they would not call.
