Sarma Debt collection department,
Medical Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Virginia
I am - military, I was listed as a primary on my daughters medical account for an urgent care visit she had in -. Being -, and having - we have $0.00 patient responsibility for any Emergency or Urgent Care visits, with or without referral. The original debt claim was from - - - from -/-/- for my daughter, this debt was sold to SARMA Collections on -. We have since moved from - - ( Early - ) We never received notices from - care that this debt was being submitted to SARMA, nor a notice from SARMA allowing us time to request proof of debt, so we could have properly disputed ... Never received a phone call, only a - notice post marked -/-/- stating it would report to our credit which it did on -/-/-. I am upset and feel neglect because not only am I -, and protected by the SCRA but HAD this agency, SARMA '' done their proper research they would have NOT placed this on my credit, which is permanent. Instead they could have done more due-diligence to collect this in the proper way as a --party.
