TransUnion Credit Reporting Complaint

Credit reporting company's investigation inadequate help over the phone

TransUnion Credit reporting department,

Credit reporting company's investigation Inadequate help over the phone Florida

My concern is something I do not believe this agency addresses but needs to. I have no late payments. None! I pay my credit cards off -, for years. I earn in excess of $ - per year. My house is almost paid for and I have another home that has no mortgage that my parents live in. I present no credit risk what so ever. My debt to income ratio should be extremely low. Yet, - credit agency, Transunion, has my score at -. Why? The other - agencies have me as high at - and I think those scores are low. As a consumer, I have no way of understanding their computation and getting an answer from those people is not possible. In no way are these agencies focused on consumer protection. That is why the cfpb exist in part. It seems to me the credit rating agencies assess risk as related to credit payment history, income, ( it should reflect total net worth ) and other factors. If I am ( including all liquid assets ) in fact debt free, why are my scores so low? This cost me money. Is this all some sort of scam? A way for lenders to charge higher interest rates to consumers that are worthy of premium rates? Is there collusion between lenders and - or more credit reporting agencies? Maybe the government turns a blind eye to this? I am by no means a conspiracy theorist but the amount of money that could be generated by falsifying or intentionally degrading peoples credit scores, must be massive. I will start a lobbying effort surrounding this and demand congressional hearings to get to the bottom of this. I assure you this letter/electronic communication will be part of the record, including you, the person reading it. I hope you have the integrity to work this issue to completion including escalating this issue as is appropriate. Any other action should be considered full involvement in a cover up.
