Barclays Credit card department,
I have an LL Bean Visa Card issued by Barclaycard. I pay more then my monthly balance each month. This month I receive my statement and it shows a past due amount for - and a late fee. I paid - 's payment on - -. When I called the company to inquire about this, I was told that I paid my - 's payment too early, so now it is late. I now owe - 's payment and - 's payment. I think this is an unfair business practice and I believe I should have been notified that if I paid a payment too early ( even though we are in a whole new month ) then it would be considered late.
