- - - US Bank credit card - false advertising! I am disappointed and angry about intentionally false and misleading advertising for the US Bank - - credit card. I was recently approved for, and paid the annual fee for, this credit card. The major benefit they advertise is a free night when making a reward reservation for cardholders. This was the reason I chose this card instead of a competitor like a - credit card. Only a week after getting the card, I find out they have cancelled the benefit. Of course they were planning this while still advertising the benefit, to falsely induce more consumers into joining the card. They should be legally required to continue offering the benefit for all current cardholders, who relied on their promised benefits in signing up for the card.
