I submitted a claim with the cfpb in - ( case # - related to case # - ) where I asked ECMC in writing to cease all phone calls to me at both my work and my cell. Their response on the explanation of closure is Nevertheless, ECMC has honored your request and placed your account into a do not call status. '' Yesterday -/-/15 at - - contacted me in an attempt to collect on this debt. Then she informed me that no automated computer or recording would ever be contacting me. Today -/-/15 at - - called me and it was a computer/automated call. Then again at - this same day -/-/2015 another call to me was made from ECMC from -. So they are not doing what they promised cfpb, nor me. This case is pending a hearing and I need EVERYTHING in writing either via email or letter. And I need them to cease the calls immediately.
