I paid off my car expecting my title, but it has been over a - weeks and I still do n't have it! Ally is telling me that they no longer have anything to do with my obtaining my title because they sent an email to California - to release my title. California - says they sent it over four weeks ago, but I have not received it. I have confirmed my address where the title should have been sent and it is correct, however, California - does not track mail and now want me to complete a form requesting a duplicate title ( even though I never received any title ) and pay a fee. What a rip off!! Neither entity will get involved enough to PROVIDE ME WITH MY TITLE. I kept up my part of the deal and paid off my car, but they have neglected to send me my title.
