Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Michigan
General Revenue Corp is reporting to the credit bureaus that I owe a debt. I do not know any thing about this debt and I contacted them to try and obtain more information regarding the debt back in -. They did not have any information other than an amount that I owed and requested immediate payment. I disputed the reporting to the bureaus and they came back as the debt being verified. As a follow-up to that I sent a letter directly to this debt collector requesting documentation and validation of this debt. I sent via certified mail with signature delivery. They signed for the package on -/-/2015. Per the FCRA they have 30 days to respond. I 've allowed them 37 days to account for time it might take for something to reach me by mail. This company has violated the FCRA in many ways and I want them to cease collections and remove all reporting from the - bureaus or I will consider filing a lawsuit.
