TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit monitoring or identity protection Billing dispute Texas
I moved out of - and had to return my - equipment. - does not have - and I needed to ship the equipment back. After - calls in which I was promised return boxes for the equipment, I was contacted by a credit collector asking for ~ $700.00. I finally drove to - and returned the equipment and have the return receipt. I was never told that the credit collector was going to file a derogatory statement against my credit. When I was turned down for Student Loan refinancing, the refinance company made me aware of the $200.00 claim against my credit. This is a false and erroneous claim and there should be penalties for predatory behavior.
