General purpose card Unauthorized transactions/trans. issues New Hampshire

I received a pre-paid - card from - as a rebate. The expiration date on the card ( - 2015 ) was approximately 3 months after I received it. I used all but $48.00 of the funds, but now that the card is expired it got declined when I tried to use it. - will not issue me a new card for the remaining balance, or offer any alternative compensation.
