Both my husband and I have been receiving threatening voicemails from Portfolio Recovery. We have never received anything from them about any debt. Yet they are showing up on both our credit reports. With all the scammers I refuse to pay anyone claiming to be a debt collector. We suspect they are trying to collect on debts that were discharged in bankruptcy. With no proof of debt and threatening voicemails they are breaking debt collection laws. These calls are also past -.
