TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit monitoring or identity protection Billing dispute Missouri
Please see complaint # - for a more detailed explanation. I am submitting this to formally file a complaint for Transunion. On - -, 2015 I accessed the Transunion web site to obtain a free copy of my credit report. I agreed to be charged $1.00 for the report even though it should be provided for free. On - -, 2015 I was charged $17.00 by Transunion. I contacted them to discover that I had apparently signed up for their credit monitoring service. I asked them to cancel it immediately and to reverse the charges. They did not reverse the charge but I am disputing the charge through my credit card company. Transunion engages in highly deceptive practices and consumers should be wary of accessing their web sit and certainly their services.
