We took out a HELOC with E-Trade Bank several years ago. We were making monthly automatic payments from our Credit Union in - for many years on that loan thru a loan servicing company hired by E-Trade Bank. The name of the Loan Servicer was - - -. In - 2015 - - - was replaced by another loan servicing company hired by E-Trade. The replacement loan servicer is called -. We made a monthly payment of $1000.00 on the HELOC as usual to - on - -, 2015, and we believe - received this payment on - -, 2015. AFTER WE HAD ALREADY MADE THAT PAYMENT we received in the mail a notice from - that all payments after - -, 2015, were supposed to go to - rather than -. Because we had not received adequate advance notice of this change, - is now demanding the $1000.00 payment we made on - -, 2015 to -. We can not call - at all as they refer all inquiries to -, the new servicer. We wrote to - on - -, 2015 demanding return of the $1000.00 payment we sent to them on - -, 2015, so we can

We 've filed complaints with CFPB against both - and -. - refuses to acknowledge they sent their notice of changed servicer RETROACTIVELY. CFPB wrote to us and said they do n't have enough info about -. We already gave CFPB all the info we have about -. This is the company E-Trade hired to service our HELOC. Since - is probably bankrupt or being investigated for some federal fraud related to loan servicing and it seems - swooped in to take this over for E-Trade ... NOW WE WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST E-TRADE BANK FOR NEGLIGENTLY HIRING THE DISHONEST AND CRIMINAL LOAN SERVICER CLC WHO WILL NOT RETURN OUR $1000.00!!! We never told E-Trade who to hire to service their loans. That 's E-Trade 's business. We 've been screwed and E-Trade must REFUND OUR $1000.00 IMMEDIATELY so we can forward this payment to -.
