Wells Fargo Credit card department,
In 2005, we took out what we thought was a loan from the -. - heating and air conditioning company for a new furnace, air conditioner and ventilation system for our house and new addition to the house. This loan was serviced by Well Fargo Financial National bank. My husband got sick and our financial situation changed as it did for so many other families. The - year of the loan, I paid the interest. As our financial situation changed it became difficult to make payments. I called the company to ask for a balance liquidation, but was only offered a re-age '' program to get current. Some of the employees at the bank were unwilling to help and spoke to me in a condescending manner as evidenced by their recordings. I have since paid the debt, but was never sure if it was a loan or a credit card. The original amount of the loan was for $10000.00 and I was charged an interest rate of 17.90 % with a monthly payment of $290.00. If it was a loan then the interest should have been included in the monthly payment and if it was a credit card, then the monthly payment should have decreased. I was constantly charged the interest and the monthly payment remained the same for the duration of the loan. I would like the return of the interest money and late fees in addition the correction on my credit report as paid in full in good standing ''.
