Capital One Credit card department,
I was paying the credit card monthly minimum due for more than the minimum due for over 10 years, but then I stopped receiving monthly statements for 3 months ending in 2014. Now, I 'm not only receiving notices for accrued interest and penalties, but I have been told the debt was sent to a collection agency, and I receive constant phone calls. I am - yr. old - - - who was a victim of identity theft with the IRS earlier the same year. I find it to be no coincidence that as a - citizen who has been practicing the method of writing checks & mailing my statements the same way all my life. That This Credit Card company counted on me to forget to pay them if they did not send me a statement.
