NetSpend Corporation, a TSYS Company Credit card unsolicited issuance of credit card March 3, 2017 - Today I received an unsolicited business debit card in the mail from a company named netSpend in -, T-. It has a MasterCard logo, 16-digit account number, expiration date, and 3-digit security code. I called the number listed in the accompanying letter to opt-out but there was no option to speak with a human and every other action required entry of a 16-digit code or SSN so I hung up. I have never done business with these people, am not interested in their products, and the unsolicited card put me at risk for identity theft and credit card fraud.... |
NetSpend Corporation, a TSYS Company Credit card unsolicited issuance of credit card March 29, 2016 - I received an unsolicited 'NetSpend Prepaid - ' in the mail yesterday from -. - -, -, T- -. I could not find anything in the attached paper to explain what 'prepaid ' meant. I called the telephone number listed ( - ) to opt out of receiving anything else from this company but the recorded message said the card had not yet been activated so they needed my Social Security number for something. I hung up immediately when they mentioned my SSN so I do n't know what the rest of the message said. I cut the card into pieces this morning and dropped the pieces into separate recycl... |
