NetSpend Corporation, a TSYS Company Credit card department,

Unsolicited issuance of credit card Maryland

I received an unsolicited 'NetSpend Prepaid - ' in the mail yesterday from -. - -, -, T- -. I could not find anything in the attached paper to explain what 'prepaid ' meant. I called the telephone number listed ( - ) to opt out of receiving anything else from this company but the recorded message said the card had not yet been activated so they needed my Social Security number for something. I hung up immediately when they mentioned my SSN so I do n't know what the rest of the message said. I cut the card into pieces this morning and dropped the pieces into separate recycling bins. This card is issued by -. There 's tons more fine print but I 'm not going to read it.
