I have struggled for years to keep my home after my divorce and received no financial help from my former husband. I have had to rent out the house to keep it afloat. I can no longer find tenants to pay the amount necessary and need to sell the house. It has been on the market for 2 years and we finally have a buyer. BBVA Compass Mortgage loan modification,collection,foreclosure May 7, 2015 - BBVA Compass Bank initiated an unnecessary legal action, by a - manager that resulted in outrageous legal bills that I had NO control over. I should mention that prior to this incedent, I was a BBVA Compass customer for over 10 years without - blemish through - of loans and mortgages. During the litigation process, the bank and its outside counsel conferred frequently and needlessly known full well that under the original loan documents, I, as the borrower, would be responsible for the legal bill.
