Barclay could not give instant approval and communicated that the application was being processed. I did not receive any other communications or a request for additional information from Barclay. Account balance was paid off $ - then bill was sent showing a new balance due to interest of $6.00, a $10.00 payment was made, however on next statement there was $.00 in interest charged. Barclays PLC Credit card other fee May 17, 2016 - I had an - card from -. - converted all their customers from - to Barclays. Two weeks ago, I received an email from Barclays that my payment was approaching and asked me to schedule automatic payments, which I did. I scheduled auto pay to be paid the day before my billing period. When I went to check my account yesterday, it said my payment was part due and I was charged a fee. I called to find out what happened and they told me for autopay, the first payment does n't take place until after 30 days. they never informed me of this.
