Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt April 27, 2015 - I contacted Broward Adjustment Services ( BAS '' ) by phone to pay an outstanding debt that is owed to the University - - medical facilities. On - -, 2015, I authorized BAS to withdraw a payment from my checking account in the amount of $480.00 - to pay the total amount due in full. I was informed that my receipt would be the statement from my bank. In addition to the bank statement, I requested that BAS send me a written notice confirming that the payment was made, and that my account with the collection agency was closed.
