Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. Prepaid card fees October 1, 2016 - I recently received a refillable prepaid - card in the amount of $25.00 as a gift from work. After 10 days I was billed $5.00 as " monthly management fee ''. My complaint is, how can a credit card company charge such high fees just for providing the card? On a $25.00 card that 's like 100 % interest per year ( maybe more )! This is on top of the fee that they charge the company where you use the card ( usually 2 percent I think ), and the fee charged when you purchase the card ( usually around - dollars ). How can the government allow such usury rates to be charged by creditors?... |
